Your presence and regulation matter more than you think
Regulation-based, relationship-centered parent coaching
Re//Parent is regulation-based, relationship-centered parent coaching focused on supporting the parent first. When parenting feels emotionally intense, and therapy isn’t available or accessible, I help parents slow things down, steady themselves, and feel more grounded in how they respond at home.
Many parents arrive here feeling unsure of what to say, how to respond, or whether they’re doing enough. They may be navigating big emotions, ongoing stress, or complicated dynamics, while holding a lot on their own. When professional support is delayed or limited, it can feel especially isolating.
Re//Parent centers the parent not because children are the problem, but because parents are the most consistent source of steadiness in a child’s life. When parents are supported in understanding their own responses and building calmer patterns, everyday interactions often feel more manageable.
While this work is not therapy, many parents find that having space to slow down, reflect, and feel supported makes a meaningful difference for them as well. Re//Parent offers practical tools, steady guidance, and a calm place to land during challenging seasons.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is Parent Coaching?
Parent coaching is a supportive, educational process that helps parents reflect, build skills, and respond more intentionally. It's collaborative and forward-focused, offering space to slow down and practice new ways of showing up.
Re//Parent coaching focuses on supporting the parent, not evaluating or treating children.
How is parent coaching different from therapy?
Parent coaching is not therapy.
Therapy involves diagnosis, clinical treatment, and licensed mental health care. Re//Parent provides coaching and educational support only. I do not diagnose, treat mental health conditions, or provide clinical therapy.
Coaching focuses on parent regulation, reflection, and practical support for everyday challenges—especially during seasons when therapy is unavailable or not accessible.
Who is this coaching for?

-
feel overwhelmed and want support slowing things down
-
are looking for guidance while professional resources are limited

Is this coaching for my child?
No. Re//Parent coaching focuses on supporting parents, not working directly with children.
Sessions center on the parent’s experience, responses, and capacity. Any changes that occur within the family happen through the parent’s growth and steadiness—not through direct child intervention.
Are you a licensed therapist?
Not yet.
I am currently completing parent coach training through the Jai Institute for Parenting and have been accepted into Seattle University’s Clinical Mental Health Counseling master’s program. I am not yet certified or licensed and do not offer therapy or clinical treatment.
Re//Parent provides coaching and educational support only.
Can coaching replace therapy?
